Yeah, that's the form I used to suggest the feature. I don't know about Microsoft Word, but in OpenOffice Writer it's even easier to change indentation-just press 'tab' and 'shift+tab'.
For some reason, in Gdocs 'tab' increases indent only about halfway, and then if you want to decrease indent you have to delete the indentation space character by character-pressing 'shift+tab' just selects the toolbar. But either way (Word or Writer) doesn't matter too much. I would take 'ctrl+m' and 'ctrl+shift+m' over nothing anyday. Gill 12/5/2009, 16:09 น.

To open a list of keyboard shortcuts in Google Docs, press Ctrl + / (Windows, Chrome OS) or ⌘ + / (Mac). You can also use menu access keys. Open any application menu using the keyboard, then type the underlined letter for the item you'd like to select. It is VERY slow going to type something up that contains large numbers of nonstandard symbols if you rely on the 'insert special characters' menus in Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
